Importing plugins from a USB drive to internal drive does not work
Importing plugins from a USB drive to internal drive does not work
Article
This fix is when you import a plugin from a USB drive (either hard drive or memory stick) and the process appears to work, until you remove the USB drive which stops the bank from working. The moment the usb drive is removed the imported plugins disappear then the follow will fix a file system glitch.
Create an empty bank in the VFX software, it can be called anything you like just don't insert any plugins so it transfers quickly.
Press the SYNC button and transfer the empty bank onto the vmachines internal drive using the USB host to vmachine cable.
The problem should now be fixed, you can delete the empty bank off the vmachine and the vmachine will still continue to opperate fine.
This seems to occur on vmachines which had their firmware at some stage updated via a USB stick instead of using the VFX software. If the above steps do not help then please contact support via
